Frequently Asked Questions

Can I call and check on my dog?

Of course! And we encourage you to! We know that being apart is difficult for both of you. Feel free to call and check in as often as you wish!

Can I tour or visit the facility?

Of course! You are always welcome to tour Wags! Our lobby hours are Monday through Friday, 6am-6pm; Saturday, 8am-4pm. Sundays, 2pm-6pm, are for drop offs and pick ups only.

Do I bring my own dog food, or is it provided?

Since most dogs are on specialty diets and the stress of changing foods for your dog, we recommend bringing the food your dog is currently eating at home. We also ask that the food is pre-bagged by meal to assist us with portion control and the feeding process. If you chose not to bring food, there will be an additional $5-per-meal charge to feed your dog the food provided by Wags.

Can I bring in bedding, blankets, toys or chew toys for my dog to have while at Wags overnight?

Yes, we do encourage items brought from home. However, anything brought to Wags must be washable and a non-choke hazard. Please do not bring raw hides or plush chew toys, as they can be choking hazards.

Will my dog be allowed outside?

Wags features over 10,000 square feet of secured, fenced-in, well-lit outdoor play space for all dogs. Weather permitting, dogs are allowed to venture outside into the secure area to play on various play items and splash around in our oasis pool during warm weather. All dogs are monitored during all outdoor play, while also engaging in the fun with games of fetch, blowing bubbles and more.

Do I need to bring my dog for a meet and greet or evaluation before scheduling any services?

We do not require an initial evaluation or meet and greet before any services are scheduled. However, you are more than welcome to bring your dog in for a tour to become familiar with the facility!

What if my dog gets sick or injured?

If this occurs, you will be notified immediately, if the problem is severe. If the problem is minor, you will be notified in when you pick up your dog. If vet care is needed, we will transport your dog to the closest vet. You will need to call this vet to give them permission to treat. All medical costs will be assumed BY YOU. Please refer to our waiver on the register page for more details.

Can someone other than myself pick up or drop off my dog?

Yes, please contact us prior to arrival to make proper arrangements with paperwork and payment options.

Still have additional questions?

Ask any of the friendly Wags staffers. We are happy to help answer additional questions or address any concerns you may have. You may also stop by and visit us any time. We will show you all of the comforts we provide, while your pet is away from home.
